There was a different kind of business networking at Kansas Wesleyan University today.

The annual Meet the Merchants event on the KWU campus today paired about 50 Salina and area business with students, staff, and faculty inside the Hauptli Student Center. Businesses were provided space free of charge to show off their wares, meet potential new customers and recruit students for a variety of job openings.

KWU’s fall semester began Tuesday with nearly 700 undergraduate and 90 graduate students flooding the central Salina campus.
