LINCOLN — One person was injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Tuesday in Lincoln County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Ford pickup driven by Keith Herrigel, 57, Sheridan, WY., was eastbound on Interstate 70 just before the Beverly exit.

The driver lost control of the vehicle when the truck’s right front tire blew out and the truck rolled on its side.

Herrigel was transported to the hospital in Salina. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
