A vehicle with some mechanical issues was stolen from the backyard of a north Salina home in the past few days.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Friday that sometime between 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, someone stole a white 2010 Mercury Milan from the backyard of a residence in the 700 block of West Grand. The state of Kansas tag on the Milan was 092 HUU, Forrester said. The Milan, which had about a half a tank of gas, is valued at $3,000, he said.
