The Salina Sunflower Lions Club will be offering free health screenings Tuesday when the Kansas Lions Club Mobile Screening Unit makes a stop in Salina.
The local Lions Club is bringing the Kansas Lions Club Mobile Screening Unit to Salina in conjunction with the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging’s Sunflower Fair. The fair is scheduled for 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday at the Tony’s Pizza Event Center, 800 The Midway.
Local volunteers will be offering free vision screenings, hearing tests, checking blood sugar levels, and doing blood pressure checks in the Kansas Lions Club Mobile Screening Unit.
This special vehicle, purchased by Kansas Lions and Blue Cross and Blue Shield, will be located just outside the Tony’s Pizza Event Center. Special equipment will be available for detecting vision problems for children age six months through age eight, as well as other visual problems in adults.
