Street Fair 2018: Food, fun, music, and more

Hundreds of people took advantage of a beautiful first day of fall and converged on the 200 block of West Iron Saturday for the Smoky Hill Museum Street Fair.

The annual celebration is organized by the Smoky Hill Museum, 211 West Iron Avenue.

With Iron Avenue blocked off  in front of the museum and adjacent parking lot, orange canopies dotted the landscape, indicating booths, demonstrations, and crafts areas. A variety of food vendors were on hand as well. A selection of bouncy inflatables for children were located in the parking lot across the street to the north from the museum. A section at the west end of the block include a stage for musical entertainment and several canopies to keep the audience in the shade. Additionally, museum tours were available.
