A Salina man has been arrested in connection to an attempted burglary at B&K Prescription Shop last week.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Friday that Bryce Ingalls, 27, of Salina, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the incident that occurred September 26.
At 3:46 p.m. on September 26, police were called to B&K Prescription Shop, 601 E. Iron, after an alarm indicated that someone was attempting to break into the pharmacy, Forrester said. When police arrived, they found the drive-through windows broken and the alarm sounding, but no suspect, he said. Nothing was taken, he said. Damage to the windows was estimated at $800, he added.
Police were able to review B&K’s surveillance video, which showed a suspect attempting to break in to the building. On Tuesday, police were called back to B&K because an employee had noticed a man in the shop who resembled the person in the surveillance video. Through that encounter, police were able to identify Ingalls, Forrester said.
Ingalls was charged with one count of attempted burglary and one count of damage to property, Forrester said.
