Salina woman hospitalized after I-70 crash

DICKINSON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Friday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Subaru Legacy driven by Raite, Rain Placida Raite, 19, Wamgeo, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of the Chapman exit slowed to make a U-turn.

A vehicle behind the Subaru braked, causing a 2012 Honda Accord driven by Rayshawn Lewis Johnson, 31, Salina, to swerve into the median collde with the Subaru.

A passenger in the Honda Jean Marie Leonhardt, 49, Salina, was transported to the hospital in Abilene.

Johnson and Raite were not transported for treatment. All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
