MCPHERSON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Friday in McPherson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Peterbilt semi driven by Gregory R. Williams, 51, Mount Vernon, MO. was southbound on Interstate 135 eight miles south of McPherson.

The semi left the roadway to the left into the center median. The semi re-entered the southbound lanes and over turned.

Williams was transported to the hospital in McPherson. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
