SALINE COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Friday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Mark A. McIntire, 24, Beaumont, TX., was eastbound on Country Club Road just west of Whitmore Road.

The driver swerved to avoid a deer and the vehicle rolled into the ditch.

McIntire was transported to the hospital in Salina. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
