Julian “Ralph” Burrell

Julian “Ralph” Burrell, 71, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Ellsworth. He was born April 13, 1947 in Ellsworth.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 174, VFW Post 6485, and St. Bernard’s Catholic Church all of Ellsworth.

Ralph was a longtime resident of the Kanopolis and Ellsworth areas. He retired as a vacuum operator at North American Salt in Lyons and had previously worked on the dock at Graves Truck Line.

Ralph is survived by his parents, Refugio and Esther (Perez) Muro; sons, Ralph D. Burrell of Conway, AR and Shawn Burrell (Erica) of Olathe, KS; daughters, Tammy Zachary of Morrilton, AR, Dana Jones (Paul Heaslet) of Vilonia, AR, and Shannon Burrell (Autum Edmond) of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Sierra Burrell, Josh Brown (Veronica Campbell), Danielle Burrell, Tyler Atkinson, Sarah Ann Burrell, Nathaniel Zachary, and Alicia and James Wright; great grandson, Asher; sisters, Yolanda Pruitt of Ellsworth, Angela Hughes of Derby, and Rachel Muro (Mark Vopat) of Kanopolis; and brother, Charles Muro of Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Trenton J. Haley.

Visitation: 1-7 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth followed by a vigil and rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Family will be present 5-7 p.m.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Ellsworth with burial following in Kanopolis Cemetery.
