The Saline County Republican Central Committee has re-elected Clarke Sanders to serve another two-year term as chairman.

According to a news release from the local GOP organization, Sanders was re-elected Thursday evening during the Republican biennial re-organizational meeting.

Other officers elected were Brenda Smith as vice-chair, Vicki Nichols as secretary, and Judy Plankenhorn as treasurer.

Sanders and Smith will be among 14 delegates from Saline County to the First District Congressional Committee. That group is scheduled to hold its re-organizational meeting in Salina on January 12, 2019.

Other delegates from Saline County who were elected during the Thursday evening meeting include Plankenhorn and her husband, Roger, Norb and Marlene Hermes, Ron and Debbie Denault, Tom Arpke, Chuck Heaton, Jim DuBois, Steven Howe, Galen Redden, and J.R. Claeys.
