NWSW: Patchy freezing drizzle this afternoon, tonight

Patchy freezing drizzle is forecast this afternoon and into tonight in central Kansas, according to the National Weather Service office in Wichita.

Freezing drizzle is also forecast to develop roughly east of I-35 after midnight tonight. While only minor accumulations are forecast, untreated bridges and overpasses could be slick.

This Afternoon
A slight chance of snow and freezing drizzle after 5 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 36. North wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight
A chance of snow and freezing drizzle, mainly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 25. North wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday
Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 38. North wind 5 to 13 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.

Sunday Night
Clear, with a low around 26. South southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
