United States Geological Survey is now reporting a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck in Salina this afternoon.
According to the USGS map, the earthquake was below the Municipal Golf Course area, south of Crawford and west of Markley Road. It struck at 3:34 p.m. The earthquake was determined to be at a depth of 5 kilometers.
Today’s earthquake was a bit south of a 2.9 magnitude quake that struck Saline County on June 4, 2018. Click here to read that story.
