Hillsboro – Wilma Schmidt, 89, passed away November 17, 2018 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro.  She was born March 9, 1929 in Goessel to Frank and Margaret (Hiebert) Woelk.  

She married Andy Schmidt August 12, 1948 in Hillsboro.  

Survivors include: son, Donovan Schmidt of McPherson; daughter, Lucretia (Bob) Vance of Hillsboro; 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  

Preceded in death by: husband, Andy Schmidt in 2003; son, Larry Schmidt in 2014; brother, Harold Woelk in 2018.
