Gerald “Gary” D. Griffee, 85, of Marysville, Kan., died November 23, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be Monday, November 26 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 27 at Kinsley Mortuary.

Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery.

Gary was born September 8, 1933, in Marshall County, Kan.  He attended Blancheville country school and graduated from Marysville High School in 1951.

He was a life-time farmer and stockman.  He enjoyed his cows, Royals Baseball and Kansas State Athletics.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don and Byron Griffee; and niece, Sherrie Volk.

Survivors include many cousins.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
