SCAM ALERT!!!!
A local business reported the following to us this morning:
“Just thought I’d send you a message to let you know someone just called our office asking us to advertise in the winter sports programs for AHS. I asked her if she worked for the school, and she said “No, I work for the printing company that prints the programs, and we handle all the advertising for the programs. Would you like to stay with the same ad as last year?” So, I pressed further asking what the name of the printing company was, and she hung up on me. It’s obviously a scam. Thought you guys might want to put out a notification on your social media accounts.”

ABILENE COMMUNITY AND BUSINESSES: Please know that Abilene High School DOES NOT use outside companies to garner advertising on behalf of AHS for our athletic programs. A representative of our school will make personal contact with you if offering advertising opportunities, and our programs are made through our Cowboy Creations class.
