SALINE COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 6:30 a.m. Friday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford Focus driven by Jacob Anderson, 27, Salina, was southbound on Interstate 135 approximately one mile south of the Assaria exit.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle entered the median and rolled across northbound lanes. It came to rest on the northbound shoulder.

Anderson was transported to the hospital in Salina. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
