A 33-year-old Salina man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of criminal threat and assault in an incident involving a 17-year-old relative.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Wednesday that police responded to the 300 block of Laura in south Salina late Tuesday night for the report of a man charging at a 17-year-old boy and threatening to kill him because he had not thrown a pizza box away. Another relative intervened in the incident before police arrived, Forrester added.

Forrester said David Sitty was arrested in the incident.
