A board appointment, community corrections update, and a bid award for two dump trucks are among the items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday.
The commission is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash. A time for public comment is scheduled for near the beginning of the meeting.
Commissioners are being asked to appoint Mark Splitter to the Rural Fire District #5 Board of Trustees. If appointed, his term would run from Friday to December 31, 2022.
Other items on the county agenda include the following.
- Hear an idle funds report from Jim DuBois, county treasurer
- Consider a request from Annie Grevas, community corrections director, for a Nex-Tech service agreement
- Hear a community corrections update from Grevas
- Consider a bid award for two dump trucks
Following the meeting, the commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session in room 217 of the City-County Building. Items on the study session agenda include the following.
- Road reclassification discussion — Darren Fishel, road and bridge administrator (15 minutes)
- County Administrator Rita Deister’s weekly update (30 minutes)
