Salina police are seeking the public’s assistance as they investigate a residential burglary in which two handguns were stolen.
According to Salina Police Detective Sergeant David Villanueva, sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 7:12 p.m. Friday, someone broke into a residence in the 100 block of North Eleventh. Items taken include a Walther P22 handgun and a Springfield XDE 9mm handgun, he said. Additionally, $2 in change was taken, Villanueva said.
Forced entry was made through a door, and damage to the door was estimated at $375, he added.
