The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary that resulted in the loss of more than $900 worth of items.

Saline County Sheriff Lieutenant Sean Kochanowski said Tuesday that sometime between 6-9 p.m. Monday, someone broke into a residence in the 600 block of Tressin, just west of north Salina. Items taken include the following.

  • A 3X leather Harley Davidson jacket
  • A handmade drill press
  • A jumper box air compressor
  • A genuine leather jacket
  • An 18-volt DeWalt drill
  • A Walther PPK 9mm silver handgun with black grips

Kochanowski said it appeared that entry was made through a garage door that was not secured.
