LINCOLN COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Saturday in Lincoln County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Juan Jose Salazar, 38, Windsor, CO., was westbound on Interstate 70 four miles east of Kansas 156 in the driving lane at approximately.70 mph with cruise control on.

The driver lost control of vehicle. it swerved left and rolled through the median.

Salazar and a passenger Jesus Salazar Jr., 41, Garden City, were transported to the hospital in Salina. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
