MCPHERSON COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Friday in McPherson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Izusu passenger vehicle driven by Michael G. Wyrick, 39, Wichita, and a 2015 Kenworth semi driven by Eilertson, Scott W. Eilertson, 44, Lincoln, IL, were eastbound on U.S. 56 at Antelope Trail five miles west of McPherson.

The Izusu made a left turn as the semi was attempting to pass and the vehicles collided.

Wyrick was transported to the hospital in Hutchinson. Eilertson was transported to the hospital in McPherson. Wyrick was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
