One Man Hurt in Crash Thursday Afternoon

A Solomon man hurt in a two vehicle crash on K-15 in Dickinson County Thursday afternoon.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, 30 year old Brandon Pembleton of Salina was slowing down to make a right turn in his GMC Sierra, when he was rear-ended by a 2005 Explorer driven by 39 year old Derek Weltmer.

Both vehicles were north bound on K-15 at at the intersection of K-15 and 2500 Avenue.

Pembleton was not injured, Weltmer was taken to Memorial Hospital in Abilene for treatment of injuries.

The crash occurred about 2:20 p.m.
