Low pressure aloft over the southern Rockies will move northeast across Kansas and the central Plains tonight. This will result in numerous to widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms across the area. Strong or severe storms are not expected, however locally heavy downpours of rain will be possible across portions of central and eastern Kansas.
