I do not want to dwell on the obvious. I just want to use the failure of the “Super Committee” to make a point.

The whole concept was designed to fail because everyone knew that those twelve would support the party line…… Raise taxes….do not raise taxes.

Actually, I do not care because it will not be my concern. I will be dead, probably, in ten years. Why do those in power always come up with a ten year plan? Why do they think the average American is stupid? We know, no matter what wonderful rose colored glasses solution the politicians come up with, ten years will not solve the problem because the two administrations that will come into being during that time, can change any plan that may come to be during this administration.

The only way to fix the problem is to do it now, not with a ten year plan, but with a drastic one.

Chew on this:

• A year of half pay for all state and federal politicians.
• A year of no income tax for all citizens.
• A year of no new social programs.

The effect will be immediate. Now, let the crying begin.

So, here is a more practical solution: We need to forget the White House! There is no Republican candidate who can stand up to the silver tongued liar and his controlled media. The prize in 2012 is the House and the Senate. If America can control those institutions and have a veto proof Senate.

Obama can have another 4 years of golf and vacations. Think about it!
