Mark Howard Berglund, 64, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at his home near Kanopolis Lake. In recent years, he owned and operated Mark’s Lawn Care and formerly worked for many years at PizzaCo, where he was head of maintenance.

Mark was born on May 3, 1955, in Sioux Falls, SD, the son of Howard Donald and Edythe (Griste) Berglund. 

Survivors include: three daughters, Sunday Thompson (Garrett) of Bastrop, TX, Lacey Dunn (Mike) of Manhattan, KS, and Brittany Unruh (Dustin) of Canton, KS; mother, Edythe Berglund of Centennial, CO; brother, Brad Berglund (Rita) of Centennial, CO; birth mother, Lucy Rohrbach of Sioux Falls, SD; half-sister, Julie Twedt (Mike) of Sioux Falls, SD; half-brother, Randy Petit (Shar) of Gardner, KS; six grandchildren, Greyson & Jocelyn Thompson, Allie & AJ Dunn, and Cade & Bryn Unruh; niece, Brianna Friend (Sean) of Centennial, CO; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Berglund, half-brother, Rick Petit, and nephew, Brandon Berglund.

Everyone is welcome to join a Celebration of Mark’s Life at 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Schroeder’s Pond, located at 2129 12th Avenue, McPherson, KS. A private graveside service will be held at Smoky Hill Cemetery, Lindsborg.
