Inman’s Zimpfer awarded Mary N. Fix Scholarship

TOPEKA — Rachel Zimpfer from Inman is one of 14 incoming Washburn University students to be awarded the Mary N. Fix Scholarship for the fall 2019 semester. Zimpfer is a graduate of Buhler High School.

The Mary N. Fix Scholarship is a $1,500 renewable scholarship awarded to select high school graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, or physics.

Founded in 1865, Washburn University is a public institution with more than 7 thousand students and a thousand faculty and staff involved in more than 200 academic programs. Washburn’s programs lead to certification, associate, bachelor, master’s degree or doctor of nursing practice and juris doctor degrees.
