EatStreet acquires local MyTown2Go, expands service to Salina

Online food ordering, delivery platforms join forces to streamline service

EatStreet is expanding its online food ordering and delivery service in the Sunflower State through its recent acquisition of MyTown2Go’s operations in Salina and Topeka.

Customers in Salina can now find their favorite local and national chains, such as Daimaru Steakhouse & Sushi Bar, Carlos O’Kelly’s, Chuck’s Bar, and Qdoba, on EatStreet’s website and app. Additionally, customers will gain access to EatStreet features such as real-time order tracking, group ordering, and free delivery for 30 days for all new customers.

EatStreet has also acquired MyTown2Go in Topeka, where EatStreet has served local restaurants and customers since 2018 when it launched delivery in the capital.

“As a customer, it’s no fun to have to jump back-and-forth between services, trying to find the food you want – especially when you’re hungry,” said Matt Howard, CEO and co-founder of EatStreet. “Our mission is to make sure Kansas communities get the great food delivery services they deserve with the customer service they’ve come to expect.”

Current MyTown2Go delivery drivers in Salina and Topeka have been offered positions at EatStreet. Unlike many of its competitors, EatStreet hires its drivers as employees, not contractors.

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, EatStreet has served Kansas for a number of years with online ordering, and recently increased its offerings with delivery in Lawrence, Manhattan, and Topeka.

“The MyTown2Go team has done a great job bringing online food ordering and delivery to so many local restaurants,” Howard said. “By joining forces, we’re helping customers get the food they want and service they deserve, all while providing more robust support to restaurants to help them grow.”
