The City of Salina has announced a street work project for next week.

Beginning Monday, the City of Salina Public Works Department will be replacing a section of pavement on West Claflin Avenue between Highland Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue.

West Claflin Avenue will remain open to thru traffic. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in the active work area.

Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be completed within two days.
