It’s a golf tournament with a military spin.

The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Council (MAC) will hold the Appreciation Golf Outing/Don Vandegrift Memorial Tournament on Sept. 21 at the Great Life Golf and Fitness, 1800 S. Marymount Rd.

The tournament is held annually as a show of appreciation for service members, community partners, event sponsors and participants, Commanders Club Members, and Patriot Businesses. Registration is $100 per team and includes 18 holes of play, a golf cart and lunch. Flight prizes will be awarded after the tournament.
