Leona Dorothy (Tiede) Anderson, 93, of Burdick, KS, passed away September 1, 2019 after a short illness.

Leona was born on January 15, 1926 to Bill and Dora Tiede. She graduated from cosmetology school and worked in that field for many years. She was married to Paul Anderson on August 10, 1956 and they enjoyed over 50 years together until his death in 2008. Leona was a longtime member of Hebron Lutheran Church in Burdick and had been active in many capacities there through the years. Leona had a sharp sense of humor and enjoyed laughing and visiting with friends and family. She enjoyed working outside and was often seen with her chainsaw in hand.

Lena is survived by her son, Ron Anderson and wife Lisa; granddaughters Rachel Jones and husband Drew, Amanda Anderson and husband Adam; Grandson Dalton Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Charlotte all of Kansas City. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Anderson and son, Don Anderson.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 Am., Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Hebron Lutheran Church in Burdick.
