Wedding ring, medication stolen from Utah woman’s car

A Utah woman is missing a wedding ring and some medication after a theft at a north Salina travel center Saturday evening.

Emily Crabtree, 43, told police that she had stopped at the Petro 2 travel center, 2125 North Ninth Street, for about 15 minutes at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Monday.

She told police that she thought she had locked her 2015 Toyota Prius, but when she returned to the car, her European Shank wedding ring with a two-carat black diamond and some medication was missing, Forrester said. The ring and medication were valued at $5,000, he said.
