One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident on South Ohio at about noon on Friday.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Monday that a 2008 Ford Taurus driven by Trista Shuler, 23, of Salina, was southbound on South Ohio when Shuler attempted too late to stop, as other vehicles were stopped at the light at Ohio and Cloud. Shuler’s vehicle hydroplaned and rear-ended a 2001 Toyota Camry driven by Kristoff Lindgren, 28, of Salina, sending the Camry into a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Mary Webster, 59, of Salina, Forrester said.
Shuler was transported to Salina Regional Health Center with arm and leg pain, he said. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions, Forrester added.
Both the Taurus and the Camry had to be towed from the scene, he said.
