ABILENE — Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently wore blue jeans at work for another Jeans Day fundraiser.

Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of September. The day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee.

A total donation of $275 was presented to the Junior League organization of Abilene. The Junior League Club of Abilene supports Dickinson County women and children in need. The club’s Women Helping Women Legacy Fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Dickinson County. This endowed fund helps improve the health and well-being of women in Dickinson County with limited resources.
