Salina City Manager Jason Gage was injured Thursday evening, when he was struck by a car while walking in a cross walk at 7th and Ash just before 6pm.

Gage and another city employee were in the west cross walk at the intersection, when Gage was hit by a car going east on Ash driven by 65-year-old Carol Ann Terry of Salina.

Gage was taken to Salina Regional Health Center where he was treated for a broken wrist and scrapes and released. Terry received tickets for failure to yield and inattentive driving.
