Two local churches are teaming up to give away coats to those in need.

The Coat Closet, sponsored by First Presbyterian Church and Sunrise Presbyterian Church, is scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 26. The Coat Closet can be found in Blair Hall (lower level) of First Presbyterian Church, 308 South Eighth Street. Please enter through the south doors.

The event will feature gently used and new coats in all sizes, according to information from the churches. The coats will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
