KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid discussed personnel and the upcoming Sunday night game with Green Bay during a presser Friday.

OPENING STATEMENT: “OK injuries, these are the guys who will be out; Pat will be out. Fish (Eric Fisher) will be out with his groin there. And then Chris Jones, Frank Clark, Kendall Fuller and Andrew Wylie. Everybody else is rolling and feeling good. We have Darron Lee back. He had a little bit of the flu and he’s back going. We look forward to the challenge of playing Green Bay. The guys had a good week of practice and they look forward to the challenge of not only playing Green Bay, but we also get to have them right here in Arrowhead. We know everyone is going to be out there and be loud and ready to roll for a night game. We’re excited about that. With that, time is yours.”

Q: What led to the decision to declare Patrick (Mahomes) out?

REID: “He just wasn’t ready right now. That was our decision, not his. He wanted to play right after it happened, but he just needs a little bit of time there.”

Q: What did he actually do out there on the practice field?

REID: “He did quite a bit. He’s close.”

Q: What about this Packers team and Aaron Rodgers and what has he meant to this league?

REID: “Yeah, he’s a heck of a player. Future Hall of Famer. Playing at a very high-level right now. Looks like he has a good feel for their offense. The receivers are doing a nice job for them, the tight ends, they got some future Hall of Fame tight ends. He’s got some good players around him and they’re doing nice.”

Q: On Wednesday you were hoping Frank Clark’s neck would calm down on its own, did anything happen in Thursday’s game?

REID: “He’s getting better. He was OK there. He’s OK.”

Q: What have you seen this week from Matt Moore?

REID: “He’s done a nice job taking the reps and working through it. This isn’t the first time he’s done this, it’s just a matter of picking it up and going. Looks like he is comfortable. He got in there and executed well.”

Q: What do you expect from Sammy Watkins this weekend?

REID: “Sammy is going to play. He’s felt pretty good the whole week and has done a nice job. I think he’s looking forward to getting back out there.”

Q: Is it beneficial for Matt Moore to have the full collection of talented skill position players on Sunday Night?

REID: “And a good offensive line. He’s excited to get out there and go and play. He has good energy about it.”
