
Team announces important reminders for those going to the stadium
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – NBC’s Sunday Night Football will return to Arrowhead Stadium this weekend, as the Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in a 7:20 p.m. primetime matchup.
Fans can find important information and reminders regarding Sunday night’s game below.
Pro Football HOF to Present Hall of Fame Rings to Tony Gonzalez and Johnny Robinson
2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductees Tony Gonzalez and Johnny Robinson will be presented with their official Hall of Fame rings by Pro Football HOF President and CEO David Baker and Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt during a special halftime ceremony on Sunday night (subject to change). Both Gonzalez and Robinson are members of the Chiefs Hall of Fame and both have their names forever honored in the Arrowhead Stadium Ring of Honor. Baker is also scheduled to serve as Sunday night’s ceremonial First Pass honoree.
Chiefs Kingdom Food Drive
Sunday night’s game will also serve as the official gameday collection for the annual Chiefs Kingdom Food Drive at Arrowhead Stadium. The Kansas City Chiefs partner with Hy-Vee and Harvesters – The Community Food Network in striving to make a difference toward hunger relief in the Kansas City metro area. Fans attending Sunday night’s game are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game and place the donation in the appropriate bins surrounding Arrowhead Stadium prior to entering the stadium gates. Fans wishing to make a monetary donation to Harvesters can do so at harvesters.org/chiefskingdom. New to this year’s drive, retro Chiefs cheering banners will be available for purchase before the game for a $10 donation to Harvesters. The banners will be sold by volunteers outside Arrowhead Stadium. This week’s Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle will also benefit various Chiefs hunger-relief efforts, including Harvesters – The Community Food Network.
Light Up Arrowhead with Arrowhead Light Show
Prior to Chiefs player introductions, fans are asked to take part in a special pregame light show. All in attendance on Sunday night can access the Arrowhead Light Show feature on the Chiefs Mobile App and follow the appropriate instructions for preparing their device for the interactive show. The Chiefs Mobile App can be found in your device’s app store and is free to download. Details and directions for activating the Arrowhead Light Show presentation can be found at chiefs.com/lightuparrowhead.
GEHA Headband Giveaway
In honor of being this week’s presenting partner, GEHA will be giving away special Chiefs headbands to the first 60,000 fans to enter Sunday night’s game at Arrowhead Stadium.
National Anthem and Color Guard
Sunday night’s national anthem will be performed on the electric guitar by Brandon Niederauer and the Missouri Military Academy will conduct the color guard presentation.
Traffic Alert: Road Construction Surrounding Arrowhead Stadium
All fans are reminded that MoDOT has commenced a multi-year construction project on sections of I-435 and I-70. Please be advised that there will be detours on game day at the I-435 and I-70 Interchange for travelers on Southbound I-435 toward Arrowhead Stadium. Parking Gates
Parking lot gates for Sunday night’s game open at 2:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to plan ahead and purchase parking passes in advance at chiefs.com/parking. Purchasing passes in advance is a more cost-effective method and can help expedite entry into the Arrowhead Stadium parking lots. Parking passes can be accessed via the Chiefs Mobile App on game day. Red Parking passes are $40 when pre-paid online at chiefs.com/parking and $60 cash only at the tollgates.
Stadium Gates
All Arrowhead Stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:20 p.m. kickoff. Gates for guests with tickets to the CommunityAmerica Club Level will open at 5 p.m.
Ford Tailgate District
The Ford Tailgate District will continue to be present at all Chiefs home games throughout the 2019 season. Located in Lot M outside of the Founder’s Plaza on the north side of the stadium, the free Ford Tailgate District features drink specials, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment leading up to kickoff of all Chiefs home games. The Ford Tailgate District will open at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in Lot M.
GEHA Drum Deck
New in 2019, the club has introduced an exciting new space to add to the Arrowhead Stadium gameday experience, the GEHA Drum Deck. Located below the west scoreboard in the upper level, the GEHA Drum Deck is a new, permanent site for two gameday traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. Chiefs all-time leading tackler and four-time Pro Bowl LB Derrick Johnson will be this week’s Drum Honoree and United States Army SPC Bryan Jacobo will serve as Sunday night’s DiPardo Spirit Leader.
Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat
To help celebrate the franchise’s 60th season, the Kansas City Chiefs introduced the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat at Arrowhead Stadium. For each home game in the 2019 season, the club selects one honoree who embodies the spirit of Lamar Hunt and represents the four pillars of the Chiefs Mission: Win with Character, Unite our Community, Inspire our Fans and Honor Tradition. The two gold seats are located in Section 121 of the lower bowl, symbolically positioned under Lamar Hunt’s name in the team’s Ring of Honor.
Sunday night’s honoree is Chiefs superfan Monte Short. Short brings the tradition of “Arrowman” to each Chiefs home game, representing the values of Chiefs Founder Lamar Hunt through his community involvement and unwavering positive support of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle
Sunday night’s Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle will benefit Harvesters – The Community Food Network and other local hunger-relief agencies. Tickets are three for $5 and 10 for $10. A special primetime promotion of 100 tickets for $20 will be available. Beginning this season, fans who are not at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday can also participate in the Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle by visiting chiefs.com/fans/5050raffle.
Online sales are now live, but fans must be located in the state of Missouri at the time they purchase a ticket online. The winning ticket will be announced during the fourth quarter of the game and winners do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets will remain on sale through the end of the third quarter. To help make purchasing raffle tickets at Arrowhead Stadium more accessible, a credit card option is now available at kiosks located inside the stadium. The winner has 30 days to redeem their ticket. The winning ticket will be announced in-stadium and at chiefs.com/fans/5050raffle.

Tune In
Fans unable to attend Sunday night’s game can tune in to KINA (910 AM and 107.5 FM) or 99KG (99.9 FM), a part of the Chiefs Radio Network, as “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus, former Chiefs LS Kendall Gammon and Chiefs Reporter BJ Kissel bring the action. NBC’s Sunday Night Football crew, featuring Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya, will broadcast the primetime matchup on national television. The Sunday Night Football broadcast will be shown locally on KSHB. Westwood One’s crew of Tom McCarthy and Brian Griese will also produce a national radio broadcast for Sunday night’s game and Tico Sports will have a Spanish broadcast on La Mega 1160 AM and KPPZ 100.5 FM, featuring Enrique Morales, Oscar Monterroso and Hannah Bassham. Chiefs Reporter BJ Kissel and former Chiefs LB Shawn Barber provide fans with last-minute Chiefs updates on Field Pass. Field Pass streams live on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and the Chiefs Mobile App approximately 45 minutes prior to kickoff of every Chiefs home and away game. After the game, fans can tune in to Chiefs Rewind on all Chiefs social channels to get live postgame reaction, exclusive interviews and live press conferences from outside of the Chiefs locker room.
