WICHITA — Wichita Homeschool won the BEST Award and Game Award at the 21st annual Kansas BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology) event at Wichita State University Saturday.
BEST is designed to inspire and motivate students toward careers in engineering, science, and technology.
By winning the competition, Wichita Homeschool and five other schools have qualified for the regional competition at Rocky Mountain BEST in Denver, Colorado, Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8.
In addition to Wichita Homeschool, other teams qualifying for regionals are Augusta High School, Garden City High School, Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, Salina South High School, and Rose Hill High School.
