ELLIS – Law enforcement authorities are asking the public for help to identify a suspect who allegedly  passed a counterfeit $100 bill at Love’s  Travel Plaza just after 3a.m. Sunday in Ellis, according to a social media report.

The individual appears to be a black male, approximately 6-foot-3 inches tall and around 220 pounds. He has dreadlocks past the shoulder blades.

Police had no further information on this individual, no vehicle information and no direction of travel.
