CONCORDIA — For the first time in her career, Cloud County Community College women’s basketball freshman Jacy Dalinghaus has been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Dalinghaus made a statement in her first collegiate game, nearly recording a triple-double as the freshman would lead the T-Birds in both points and steals in an 85-44 win over the Doane JV team. The Baileyville, Kan., native would finish with 23 points, nine rebounds, and eight steals while also adding three assists, and two blocks in 28 minutes of action while shooting 60 percent from the field.
The daughter of Jim and Katie Dalinghaus, Jacy is planning on majoring in agriculture business.
