An electrical fire causes an estimated $30,000 in damages to a Saline County home Tuesday.

Around noon RFD #2 was sent to 6684 S. Simpson Road on the report of a residential fire. The occupant 90-year-old Radmila Larson and her son 70-year-old Nikolai Sapegin, who was visiting, saw smoke coming from a closet. They left the home and called 9-1-1.

RFD #5 and RFD #6 were called for assistance.

The fire was determined to be in the wall and ceiling of the home between the kitchen and bathroom.

No one was injured in the fire.
