A Jeep stolen from the Sunset Plaza Parking Lot Thursday night wound up wrecked in an alley in the 600 block of S. Phillips just after midnight.

The 1999 Jeep Cherokee that belongs to Megan Vanley, of Salina, was taken while parked in front of the Colortyme about 11:30 pm Thursday. The Jeep was found behind the home at 648 S. Phillips rolled onto it’s side after it had hit a railroad tie and cedar tree.

The Jeep was removed by a tow truck. The keys were in the jeep when it was taken.
