Confidence continues to increase that a winter storm will affect the Kansas region Monday through Tuesday, as a storm system moves northeast across Mid-America. While there remains some uncertainty regarding the exact track of the heaviest precipitation, current indications suggest modest to heavy snow accumulations will be possible across the region, with the heaviest snow likely over the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma, and southwest through central Kansas. Please stay tuned for forecasts issued the next few days, as slight deviations in the storm track and availability of cold air will have an impact on the location and amount of snow accumulations.
