An undetermined amount of cash was taken in an armed robbery just before 8 pm Monday night at a northwest Salina convenience store.

Lt. Scott Siemsen says the suspect walked into the Prime Time at 100 N. Broadway and pointed a small handgun at the 18-year-old clerk. The clerk took money from the register, and gave it to the suspect, who then left the building out a south door and went east.

The suspect, believed to be a male, was wearing a black hoody, dark pants, and gloves, and was wearing a mask that looked like an older Asian male with long gray hair.
