Our legislators have been doing nothing to ward off federal encroachment of the Constitution and our fundamental rights. Not even the 2011 freshmen “tea party” candidates have done any better than the “veteran” legislators who have presided over the enormous financial deterioration of Kansas. Last session they increased spending over $350 million and joined the Republican bandwagon telling the citizens the spending actually dropped, and failed to fight to repeal the 18% sales tax increase.

They had a duty to inform the citizens that the administration was implementing Obama Care but not only failed to inform the citizens but failed to take any action to stop the implementation of this unconstitutional law by the Governor. Now that the feds have passed the unconstitutional National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) they are as ignorant or at least as quite as a sleeping baby.

How bold of them and how stupid of us: they leave us hanging in the wind and we are still only too happy to vote for them for the sake of the party. Our Liberty is a gift from God. Don’t ask God to protect you from self inflicted wounds.
