A Salina man reports someone entered his home Thursday afternoon and took a safe that contained prescription medication and a hand gun.

Edgar Toothman says someone entered an unlocked back door to his home in the 900 block of Hancock between 4:30 and 5pm and took the safe that had 8 boxes of Fentanyl patches, a bottle of Arasapan, and a .22 caliber revolver.

Loss estimated at $1,100.
