A former manager of a Salina business has  been charged with 5 counts of felony theft.

47 year old Timothy Bailey now of Bargersville Indiana, is accused of issuing unauthorized payroll checks to himself between March and July of 2011 while the manager of the Dairy Queen at 321 N. 9th.

The amount of the checks totaled $7,500. Bailey was booked and bonded out of the Saline County Jail Tuesday .

The theft was reported to police on December 29th of 2011.
