A rural Salina man reports to the Sheriffs Office that a few items have come up missing at his home, and the suspect in the theft is a man who has been doing remodeling work for him.

Alvin Schwerdtfager says 3 gold necklaces, a red oak trim fluted casing, and unfinished red oak was taken between February 9th and March 5th from his home on W. Armstrong Road.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says they do have a person of interest in the case.

Total loss placed on the missing items is $2,346.
